# Running Your First Status Check

First, download and install the [free](https://wordpress.org/plugins/blocked-in-china/) or [paid](https://blockedinchinaplugin.com) version of Blocked in China on your WordPress site.

Then, click _Check Status_. 

> One Monthly status check is included in the free plan. To get Weekly, Daily, or Hourly status checks, please [upgrade](https://blockedinchinaplugin.com). 

Your status results will display in a table: 

You can optionally display the latest status on your WP Admin Bar:
